What were the issues that you used to experience in your work role?
Problems organising thoughts and tasks. There is an IT based work tracking system, but I can’t use it. I can’t manage the tasks on the system to know what to do next.

How are you using the board?
I use the little blue stickers for thoughts and the larger orange stickers, that I borrowed from someone else in the office, for tasks. Some of the blue stickers are for things that I’m worrying about but they’re also for things that I’m just thinking about.
When I’m worried or thinking about something I write it on a blue sticker and then leave it for an hour. When I come back to it, I decide where to place it. I use the “things for the future” circle for questions that I can’t answer now or when I’m waiting for an answer from someone else.
I open the work tracker and take the tasks and write them on the orange stickers. I then put the stickers in “things I can do something about”, “things I can’t do” and “things for the future”. I do the ones in the “things I can do something about” circle then when I finish the task, I take the sticker off and write it in the corner of the board to show what I’ve done.
I also use green, orange and red stickers as mood stickers. I put the green one on my desk if I’m OK to chat about life generally and be interrupted, the orange sticker if I’m ok to talk about work and the red sticker if I need some time. The others in the workplace know the system and respect it.
How has it affected the way that you do your work?
I’m less anxious because I can see what tasks I have to do, what things I’m thinking about and what I’ve done.
If I can’t see that I’ve finished anything I worry that I have to keep working. Now that I can see when I done tasks, I’m happier.
I can see what tasks need to be done each day so I get more things finished. I’m more productive.
