As it’s the end of the week my daughter removed all the pockets from the board and wiped clean all the writing. She then started again for the new week.
No days in the coming week are the same as last week, though some of the activities are the same. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday were the same as last week during the day. These days are spent at the Together Trust / Newbridge Day Centre. On Monday evening is Causeway, a group for adults with special needs.
After Causeway, we are driving to my middle daughter and her husband’s house. This meant taking the picture of Grandma out of the pocket and inserting a picture of my middle daughter’s house. My daughter’s fine motor control isn’t great but the pockets are really easy to use and are self-cling. It’s my middle daughter’s birthday on Tuesday and we have a family tradition of being together for birthday breakfast whenever we can. This means I get birthday cake for breakfast :-).
The rest of the week was updated with time spent with friends and various activities at Church for Easter.
My daughter then talked me through the board day by day. The board then went back on the radiator to start the new week.
